We traveled from London to Bordeaux on September 20. Wine was the main draw, but Bordeaux became the place where we got engaged.

Exploring wine

Our time in Bordeaux included visits to Cité du Vin and Château Pape Clément. Those two stops were part of the wine-focused chapter of our trip.

A new chapter, celebrated at Son Bordeaux

After our engagement, we went to Son Bordeaux. It was our favorite restaurant in Bordeaux, and it became the setting for our celebration.

Our morning ritual: Copains

We went to Copains every morning in Bordeaux, and it was excellent. Alongside the engagement and wine experiences, that simple routine became part of what made this stop memorable.

Next stop: San Sebastián

We left Bordeaux on September 22 and continued to San Sebastián for food and natural beauty.
